Nielsen Granite EverBlasting Memorials

Honoring a Legacy. Building the Future.

In February 2026, Nielsen Granite was sold to Corrina Thompson, owner of EverBlasting Memorials, forming Nielsen Granite EverBlasting Memorials.

This transition was thoughtfully planned to ensure continuity, care, and respect for the decades-long legacy families have trusted. Existing standards, craftsmanship, and commitments remained in place — while the business expanded to include additional services, modern techniques, and a renewed focus on customer support.

Today, Nielsen Granite EverBlasting Memorials is women-owned and locally operated, proudly serving the community with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. By combining generations of experience with forward-thinking practices, we continue the mission of honoring loved ones while making a difficult time easier for the families we serve.

EverBlasting Memorials

Founder: Corrina Thompson
Est. 2020

I’m Corrina, the daughter of a fourth-generation funeral director, and I grew up in the small town of Dundee helping my family in the funeral and monument business. My family has been serving families in the surrounding area during some of the hardest times of their lives since 1992.

Watching the compassion and dedication my parents showed, I developed a deep appreciation for memorial work and a passion for the creativity behind monuments. Every stone tells a story—of a loved one lost, their family, their career, their interests, and their life. When engraved into granite, those stories are preserved to last for generations.

To better serve families, I took specialized classes to learn sandblasting and monument engraving, allowing us to offer more personalized and meaningful options. Through this work, I’ve discovered that engraving goes far beyond cemetery memorials.

EverBlasting Memorials also creates pet memorials, boulder engravings, and even the occasional cutting board. If it can be engraved in stone, I’m always eager to explore new ideas.

I look forward to serving you and helping create a lasting tribute that truly reflects the life it honors.

Nielsen Granite Co.

Nielsen Granite has been a trusted name in memorial craftsmanship for generations, serving families throughout the Finger Lakes region with care, integrity, and pride.

Jack Nielsen, owner of the Route 54 Nielsen Granite Company overlooking Keuka Lake, represents the third generation of the Nielsen family to operate a monument business. The family legacy began with his grandfather, Chris Nielsen, who opened a monument company in Bath. That business remained in operation until his passing in 1959.

Jack’s father, Fred Nielsen, continued the family tradition, first working for a monument company in Canandaigua. When that company was sold, Fred opened his own business in Penn Yan, officially launching Nielsen Granite Company in 1964. The business was originally located on Route 54A across from Seneca Farms before relocating in 1974 to its current site overlooking Keuka Lake.

Jack Nielsen began working alongside his father during his high school years. In 1977, when Fred retired, Jack and his brother Tom took over the business. After several years, Tom chose a different path, and Jack assumed full leadership of Nielsen Granite. Fred later returned to assist briefly before retiring permanently in 1980.

For decades, Nielsen Granite has been known for its skilled workmanship, personal service, and commitment to honoring lives with dignity — values that continue today.
